Buick LaCrosse eAssist

2012 Buick LaCrosse eAssist uses new technology to General Motors - eAssist, which helps reduce fuel consumption by a full-sized sedan compared to the current version of the Buick LaCrosse by 25 percent. The system consists of a 115-volt battery and a 15-kilowatt block "motor generator" set instead of an internal combustion engine generator. Fuel 2012 Buick LaCrosse eAssist is 11.3 liters per 100 km city and 7.6 liters per 100 km on the highway.

In combination with the four-2,4-liter Ecotec engine with direct injection and six-speed automatic transmission, the next-generation system eAssist uses battery power to optimize the internal combustion engine 2012 Buick LaCrosse in different situations.
